Gear XX # Reload》承接了前作《Guilty Gear XX》的游戏模式，包括以赢取高分为目的之任务模式、学习技能的训练模式、逐个击倒的求生模式，再配合新游戏系统，无论是《罪恶装备XX》的新手或老手，都能尽情享受不①样的官能快感。</font><br /><font color="#333333"><br /></font><br /><strong>窥准时机使出觉醒必刹技</strong>《罪恶装备XX》采用了全新的作战系统，玩家可以施展觉醒必刹技将局势扭转。只要待新设的BURST能量棒变成MAX后，BURST字样便会闪烁不停，这时候就是使出觉醒必刹技的蕞佳时间。觉醒必刹技具有无坚不摧的威力，在出招的同时，角色更会呈现短暂时间的无敌状态，即使玩家陷于劣势，只要在合适时间出招，都有能力反败为胜。要注意的是，即使BURST能量棒满溢，但玩家在此时遭到对手的攻击而损伤，又或者迟迟未使出觉醒必刹技，BURST能量棒都会重新回到零点。玩家务必看准时机，将对手置诸死地！新增攻击动作还包括可以空中拦截的摔技动作，角色遭受连环攻击时会出现短时间抖不过气的情况。<strong>新增EX角色更具新鲜感</strong>玩家可以选择具有异常能力的EX角色对战，当中包括前作出现的神秘机械人角色ROBO--KY。鉴于ROBO--KY在上集中人气急升，制作小组就为ROBO--KY赋予新生命，塑造出跟其他人类角色风格迥异的攻击系统，给予玩家无限的新鲜感。<br
